The Ridge Golf Club is set in some of the most beautiful countryside Kent has to offer with outstanding views over the Weald. The 6,242 yard, par 71 course was designed by Patrick Dawson, architect of The Belfry (home to many Ryder Cup Matches). The superb views over The Weald and the layout, including 20,000 established trees, give the course a mature, interesting feel making it particularly popular with golfers.
Considerable thought has gone into the design of the course and the naturally draining qualities of the greensand upon which the course is laid minimises the problem of surface water and provides a course that is playable throughout the winter months. Two well positioned lakes offer a challenge on your opening tee shot, eighth and final hole. In addition, the course has comprehensive practice facilities including an 11 bay driving range fitted with Trackman, short game practice area with a bunker and practice putting green.
